À propos de la formation
This workshop is a direct plunge into Physical Theatre. Participants will develop characters through movement and object manipulation and discover a dramaturgy unique to each of them. Great importance will be placed on physicality and on the unexpected. We will explore a series of exercises and games designed to build trust and group cohesion and collaboration. We will focus on practical skill, through specific improvisation, using a range of exercises aimed at building a shared creative language: Laban exercises; animals; colors; rhythm; punctuation; and group listening work focused on impulses. We will explore goals in scenes with obstacles to reach it. Together, we will create a story composed of several scenes (the collage technique) using the tools we will have explored. We will work through dramaturgy from every angle, shaping and reshaping our collage of vignettes. The structure includes solo, duo, and group work. I will also introduce you to one of my favourite tools: the musical score!
Objectives:
Interpret the emotions within our musical score
Integrate the notion of punctuation into movement
Understand the power of opposing rhythms, contrasts, and points of emphasis
Develop the ability to listen within silence
Learn—or relearn—how to be effortlessly present
Deepen themes and resonances
Seek out a shared language
Who is this training for ?
